I know exactly how it feels to be overwhelmed by the endless advice, product recommendations, and opinions from every direction. When I was preparing for the arrival of our first baby girl, I spent countless hours researching the standard list of registry items that I believed were going to provide me with all I needed to begin the venture of motherhood.

Now, almost five years (and two daughters) later, I’ve realized that what’s best truly depends on your unique journey. Looking back, there were products and support services that would have been a much better fit for me—not just what others said I needed.

What I’ve learned is this: every baby is different, every family is different, and every motherhood journey is beautifully unique. The magic happens when we stop trying to follow someone else’s path and start trusting our own instincts, letting our babies guide us, and giving ourselves permission to follow our natural instincts.

Our family has faced its fair share of bumps along the way, and through it all, I’ve discovered that the best way I can be the mother my children need is by embracing the real, always messy ;), rhythm of our life. That includes finding the right tools, resources, and support that actually align with our needs and not just the “normalized” standard. 

I’m not an expert in all things motherhood. I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who is deeply passionate about supporting other moms and their families. Because the truth is: every day brings new adventures and new challenges & it really does take a village.
